I am a Tool and Die maker, PatternMaker, Machinist. Having served an apprenticeship at Caterpillar Tractor Comany in Decatur IL. from 1967 to 1971,and working for them for 18 years until taking a job with Northrup Corp. in Pico Rivera Ca. as Large Scale Model Shop Foreman building the full scale Mockup of the B2 Bomber from 1985 to 1988 at which time I came to Rockford and in 1996 started Datum Machine Works.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We comunicate with our customers, We make Quality our Vice, and we are a one stop shop for customers requiring castings from patterns,& machined.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location with 30,000 square feet and have land avalible for expansion.
